The application and registration deadlines apply to all conference participants (invited speakers, accepted applicants and committee).

Application procedure

Who needs to apply ?
Everybody. Invited speakers and scientific committee should also fill the application form to provide us with the necessary details.

How do I apply ?
Apply by creating your account and submitting the title and abstract of your poster or your oral presentation.

Abstract guidelines
For applicants, it would be useful to submit with the application a title and an abstract with 200 words maximum.

When do I get a response to my application ?
Notification of acceptance and registration information together with details about the payment process will be sent via email by May 29, 2017.

Poster or short talk ?
Oral presentations are only for invited speakers. Other participants are expected to present a poster. The scientific committee might ask you after successful application to give a short talk instead of a poster.

Registration procedure

Who has to register ?
Everyone, i.e. successful applicants, invited speakers and committee.

How much does it cost ?
Conference fee: The conference fee is 250 EUR and has to be paid immediately after registration.
Hotel: The total hotel cost for the 6 days of the conference is 479 EUR per person in a double room and 571.50 EUR per person in a single room, including full board. Payment will be on site in Sant Feliu. For details see hotel information.
Travel costs: You have to cover your travel costs.
Note: Invited speakers do not have to pay the conference fee and the hotel is paid directly by the conference organization.

Can I get financial support ?
Travel and accommodation grants might be available for successful applicants, invited speakers and committee, if budget allows. You will receive information about reimbursement via email.

How do I pay ?
You can proceed with the payment of the registration fee after your application is validated.

    Access to the secure payment website is granted  through your BEC 2017 account.
  • Payment by bank transfer
